This mission is so WOW. I'm taking it very slow so as to savor every bit of it. Thank you Zontik for this wonderful gift to us all! The fruits of four years' hard labor? - Your perseverance is amazing.

How does one go about doing this? I've got a Radeon 4850 HD card with 1 GB memory - I'd like to know how to get thief to use more of it. Is there a tutorial somewhere that I've missed? Its the first I've seen or heard of it. I have DDfix installed but the DDfixGUI.exe file always fails when I try to open it (Dunno if its due to using Vista 64 bit or what) so I can't see if there is a setting in there.
No, I did this by editing the source code to DDFix (the fog-fixed 1.4.x versions of DDFix are made by me). Like I say, it didn't help the slowdown in King's Story and you probably don't need it for any other fan mission.

damn... i suffer a problem once in the castle... all became choppy and i dunno the reason.
i've read somewhere that some pc could suffer that but i expected that for the first part that and not inside the castle.
any suggestions ?
:(:p

Damn, this FM gets laggy. I love the details, but really, there was a few things that were overkill for even my best computer. A computer that goes beyond the requirements of most systems this game was made for.
But, I still love this FM. A big wtf with the camchase of that big beast up that hill, though.

O.k Zontik, I now feel very-very mad at you.
I like your mission a lot and I admire your imagination and hard work.It is an amazing piece of work! Every time I play a mission made by a Russian author I can see this special style and way of thinking that makes the russian missions almost unique and full of imagination and mystery.
I had the time -and the patience- to read all 27 pages (since I had the same problems as most of the people here) and I never complained but...
the secret in doctor's room??? if you have to hide secrets this way, maybe consider not putting them in at all.:cheeky: And now that I think about it..an elevator on a ledge to access the wine celar?.. a tile in a bathroom that opens only by closing the door?.. a wall that you have to frob even if it does not highlight? Man, you drive me crazy!!
I LOVE secrets, it is one of the reasons I like this game so much and you have 13 of them but half of my hair is already on the ground and I have 4 more to find before I go down to be beaten to my death from mr. Wolf
I have to tell you that you are a Baaaaad person :sly:
Closing, there is one thing that you should look to if you wish to make some changes in the future...
make the subtitles bigger and have them last longer on the screen please.
I have to give you my opinion in emoticons:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: and    and :ebil:
Thank you for your great mission!
oh, and two questions : who is mr.Don't do it again on the high tower and is there anything else in the Throne room than the puzzle for the bottle? nothing close to the pontium?

It's the King, being a bit melancholic and getting some air.

01. The flower box in the entry courtyard.
02. The secret door in the wine cellar.
03. The chest under the stairs in the water tower (gas arrow).
04. The goblet on the wall outside the top room of the water tower. You need to shoot it off and find it down in the courtyard.
05. The hidden compartment in the doctor's bedroom. The switch is under the desk.
06. The compartment in Elizabeth's bathroom. You need to shut the door while inside.
07. The two spice bags. One is in the kitchen, one is not. You need both.
08. The gemstone in the chandelier above the wedding feast table (you need to climb up).
09. The secret room west of the dumbwaiter passage on the first floor. Switch is near the most westerly column.
10. The cabinet you open with the unlit candle in the king's office.
11. The hidden compartment in Anger's bathroom (look up at the door jamb).
12. The musical headband where you reach the highest point. Light the brazier to reveal it.
13. The gemstone on the lift in the room where you confront Anger. Just climb up before you kill him.
