@ bobber: if you use the telescope you are looking in the sun and this hurts you. Maybe/perhaps you are not frobbing the doors, but the telescope. (my guess)

Definitely DON'T! You have only TWO chances to do that (with your left eye and with your right eye).
Lawviz, something is wrong. You shouldn't have two Angers. Scripts bug probably? You can try to return to the earlier save (before your turning into the King) and try once more.
Do you use Win 7 32-bit?
BTW, two wrong sheets have a sense. But don't think too straight, remember, it's easter egg and it shouldn't be activated by chance.
Try easy but not SO obvious combination.
canetoad, slow fall potion WAS in that chest (there is only one, so I know we are speaking about the same thing). There are some other powerups there, so it could go into your inventory without extra notification.

thanks a lot found the gas arrow, all objectives compleated exept for thre final one,i have a key for the top towers which i got from the library but cant find the door,anyone know where it is ,

I can't find a way into the premiere, I've been up in the attic - I expected there to be a way in from there but the only way I can go is thru an opening to the top of the spiral staircase where the fallen ladder is, or down to the far end of the hallway where the two guards are outside a door.
I did find another door opposite to the entrance to the attic but that only opens a little bit - not big enough to get thru. Have I missed an opening?

on the top floor , to the left of the main staircase double doors Garga,
if you drop down from the vent at the place you describe where you can see the two guards there is
a window you can open where you have to head along the parapet outside to the balcony - I'd recommend saving first but it's not too bad!

Part 2 - I read the valet's note, got the Passage Key from the hot water tank, used the maul on the vent cover to free the dumbwaiter, but when I try to go up it stops about 2/3 of the way up the shaft. There are noises like the motor is failing or something and then I'm stuck. Can't get a rope arrow into the doorway I can see at the top, don't see any other ways out, so have to reload.
Didn't see anything posted about this, so wonder if it's a bug or if I'm just missing something. Started on Moderato to this same point, but hadn't read the valet's note before using the maul, so thought maybe I broke things by going out of sequence. Restarted on Allegro and did things in the correct order this time, but still get stuck at the same point.
Also, I read you can knock out the valet (older guy with burgundy jacket & blue sash?) at this point and get a key, but when I do he has nothing on him.
