None in Room 14 on Largo....... QUOTE]
There should be Fidcal I I went back to check. Maybe the arrow's more behind the 3rd bed head on the left than under the window but it's there for me , on Largo.
I admire your potion/drill stacking attempt :D

None in Room 14 on Largo. And I'm not certain I have the chamberlain's room but if it is the one with the bow over the fireplace then none there either.
Rope arrows?
I now have 4 on Largo, including the arrow from the 1st mission, so there are at least 3. You can find one in a room, hanging rope an inch from some window curtains. Unfortunately I forgot which room, and where I got other two arrows ;(
So, is it possible to get the crown and finish the mission on Largo?
(I miss about 250 loot and Garrett "not yet"s on my attempts to use the shaft key found under the crown.) Perhaps it's required to find some secrets if one decides to pick up the crown on Largo (to make up for the deficiency)? I think I found about 6-7 secrets, no library secret though...

I also found the rope arrow in Room 14 on Largo. There is another one in a short hallway on the third (?) floor where there are some armor breastplates on tables and weapons on the walls. There is a rope arrow and a broadhead arrow that can be taken.

Got it. It's the third bed head on the right and while I was looking everywhere under the window or on the floor etc for an arrow, it is a cord hanging at the side of the curtain. Just by chance I bumped it and saw something moving out the corner of my eye. Phew! This is a mission critical item without any clue; difficult to see and easy to miss. I've spent between 90 minutes to 2 hours searching the entire mission and I never found it - and never would without help or maybe pure luck. It would have been a good non-critical secret though

242, did you find the secret in the library where you enter a code? You need to activate a switch in the attic behind a picture which then opens a bookcase in the library .
Also, did you find a book that appears frobbable on the lowest shelf in the library - extreme left? No idea what it does, if anything, or what the title means?

Just started playing this and i gotta say, wow. I'm only in the canon still but god how good does that fog look which wouldn't be possible without Si02'd hard work on DDfix. The fog gives impressive depth of field, at times I though I was playing Tomb raider legend..
well done Zontik..

As so many of the others have expressed, I am in awe of this beautifully crafted mission. Attention to detail, textures, the furnishings, exceeds most anything I have seen. Not to denigrate other talented authors. It is easy to understand why it took four years to complete.
It is certainly not struggle-free in finding hints or solutions to puzzles. IMHO, I think more clues are necessary. Not unless we are in training to be uber secret agents. This is an entirely new venue for Thief. It doesn't have anything to do with the west's mindset.
I have scoured Anger's room for "the tiny lever in a corner", without success. It is the room with a piano? I think my eyes are going...
I had to laugh when I saw the King's old fashioned commode, while the servants, visitors, etc. had modern toilets. A little inconsistency here, unless we consider the King is quite eccentric.
Is there a reason the beautiful double-door stained glass windows, leading from the 3rd floor foyer to room 17 can be broken? So far, I have not found the point in that, but will keep looking.
Oh yes, he is eccentric.
Thanks to all the taffers for their hints. Couldn't have gotten this far without them.

Thanks SlyFoxx, I did check that earlier, but will go back and closely check again.
I think I know the answer to the double doors leading to room 17. Just have to practice,..
