've been playing on the same installation of Thief 2 (patched) for about a month, playing FM's, with no issues.
Halfway through my current FM, the game crashed, and now it crashes very time I try to load a game.
I've uninstalled the game and reinstalled/repatched it, but the problem persists. I uninstalled the whole thing, all of the olders and contents, having made a copy of my game saves elsewhere.
I'm not sure what technical information you'd need to see, but it's one of those "enountered a problem and had to stop running" messages that wants to send an error report to Microsoft. I've never had this problem with Thief 2before, so it looks like something to do with the fact that I'm playing FM's.

When you say "load a game" do you mean "load a save game"?
If so it's possible that your saves are corrupt. Will it run the original Thief2 OK? If it will, can it run this FM starting from new?

I'll check an earlier save and see what happens.
Yes, I did mean "load a saved game" as opposed to starting the game itself. I get the starting Thief menu without a hitch.
I was able to load an earlier saved game. I'll try proceeding from that point.

what ffox is saying is, that your save game might be corrupt.
