Trying to run Thief2 on my laptop, I've applied the most recent (v3) DDfix, the widescreen fix and the imagecfg. fix. No luck.

I run Thief, but it flickers back and forth between a black screen and the desktop a few times before sticking on a black screen. I can windows-button out of it and ctrl-alt-delete to terminate the program, the program manager says that Thief is still running and hasn't locked up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've tried getting help for this before but I got the silent treatment for a whole year, so I'm really begging you guys. I need my thief fix before I go out and buy an ancient computer just for Thief.
