OK I have Thief 2 installed on my windows 7 32 bit computer. I had no problems installing it. The only thing I had to do was to set the affinity to 0 on my CPU.
I have both the desktop and thief2.exe in the thief directory set to compatibility mode win xp SP3.
I can play the game great, except for one thing I need to know how to change.
The screen in the game is mostly GREEN! I am even playing in 800 X 600 resolution!
HOW do I get the colors back?
My two video cards are run in SLI though I DO NOT have SLI enabled at all! I am just using ONE video card. The video card is a NVidia Geforce 9400GT with 1 gig memory on the card itself.
My motherboard is an Asus P5N-D and I have 8 gig of RAM installed with a 500GB Western Digital SCSI hard drive.
I DO have the LATEST DRIVERS for my video card from Nvidias website. These work with Win 7.
Can anyone tell me how to get the colors working right? This is the first time I have installed thief 2 in windows 7, but I installed it in win XP and it worked great!
EDIT: I finally found out that I had not downloaded the GUI version of ddfix. Once I set it to admin privileges and clicked on the patch to apply it, then I got my colors back!

I got another problem with Thief 2 on Win 7 - like guy/gal above it installed without so much asa whimper, didn't even need compatibility assist, but when I click on either of my available game launch icons or the play option in the panel, nothing happens, even though the processes tab in the taskbar says it's running - course, that's the only one that says it is... In short, help!!!!!

Never mind, it was just being obnoxious.
