Mission finished in 4 hours and I got 23116 loot. Really fun mission. I had couple of problems with it. I had problem with finding Bafford's Manor and finding Police Station where my equipment should be stored. Of course intro explained both cases, but I just forgot about that. Also if princess Melanie freed us, why didn't she also explained what she wants and gave us our equipment? I found it weird. I also had problem locating Bracelet of Melody after performing rituals. And reason for that is bracelet got covered by smoke and was barely visible. During my search for it I found couple more pieces of loot and 2 unintended places to climb to outer walls where floating switches and Melanie are located. I also visited 2 bell towers: one with golden bell from church and other with silver bell on outer wall.
Loot objective on Expert isn't too difficult, which I like. I was also worried for very loud ambient music you like, but in here music is quiet enough, so I can enjoy it. I really appreciate that.

Thank you Galaer for your feedback, where did you downloaded the mission? maybe you downloaded and outdated version, because I blocked all possible ways to the city top walls and bell towers in my last mission update, can you explain me please how you got there ?

I played 1st version and climbing to outer walls was hard. One spot is in
area with church: left from terrace is vertical wooden beam on wall. I needed 2 rope arrows to get to top and jump to roof on the left, which isn't slippery. Other place is much more demanding. It's in
area with art gallery. Near bar are windows with metal fences and these fences for some reason are ropable. This allowed me to climb to top window and then jump and mantle on balcony with victrola. Then I mantled on lamp and stack all my potions and fruits to get on roof. Lastly I roped up to wooden beam in outer wall and mantled up. I don't think it's really necessary to block these places as not many people will find them and climbs are hard to do.

Excellents finding Galaer, I wish I could have had you as a betatester in this mission, I have block all possible ways to the city walls , that way i make sure it's inaccessible, also fixed those metal balconies you mentioned , I have updated the mission, here's the changes,
V1.2 changes:
-It's now impossible to access any city wall
-Forgotten inaccessible secret with treasure jar are both deleted
-metal balconies above the art gallery are no longer ropable

LOL
Ive got 9 bottles of beer and 15129 in loot and no objectives ticked off except finding my equipment.
Can't find anything. And not for lack of trying, as you can tell from the stuff I DID find.
Can't find the something of value at Bafford's holiday house. Ive been to that little place behind his mansion with the sleeping guard, and can't find anything there except for some loot.
Can't find this attic with the painting in it that is presumably somewhere in the park.
Can't find the vintage beer bottle, even after looking up some spoiler hints here in this thread.
Also, in regards to those 12 beer bottles:
2. fake house behind iron gates and 2 twisted columns between Bafford's house and the East river bridge, on the balcony above
How the heck do you get up there? I haven't found any way up.
EDIT:
Found the vintage beer bottle! XD
EDIT 2:
Nevermind. I found EVERYTHING! :D

Cardia,
I am so glad that you plan to make another mission, because this was sensational! You transported me to another place. I hope you don't mind some feedback...
The really goods
- Everything is beautiful and detailed so thoroughly that it makes immersion effortless. Together with the ambience and the music, I was infatuated in minutes. As some people complain, it steps a bit out of the box of "Thief" in some places, but I think everything you added is part of a great whole and makes the memories that inspired you come to life. It's just so interesting... although the Body Shop logo and the 10x normal polycount mannequin was hilarious. I wasn't at first, but I soon became glad I didn't know what the townsfolk were saying! I was officially on an adventure. One that took me into many people's bathrooms and comical diaries.
- Excellent guard placement, especially in the mansion. Ghosting is a fun and realistic challenge, which is not common! But it was also fun to lead them on chases. There was always the perfect amount of tension, with thoughtful sightlines, and it was a delight to find myself forced to keep moving to stay hidden... or forced to plunge into a river.
- I hate leaving areas "undone", but you taught me to love it, because almost every time I revisited an area I found something new. It was like magic. Artful loot placement.
- I applaud you on the scope of the main plots, both in subject (solve a murder and enact an ancient ritual) and scripts/effects (depositing the evidence, Melanie appearing, enacting the rites). If it was just a bit more technically straightforward, it would match OM quality. Very cool overall.
The pain
- Because of how flush rope-able surfaces are to walls, climbing back down from anywhere took me, no joke, 8-16 quickloads each time. I would describe the design philosophy when it comes to ropes as "outwardly hostile". :cheeky:
- Learning the hard, slow, and random way of what was and wasn't rope-able was a significant portion of my playtime. I got there eventually, but I didn't feel very good about it. One may benefit from a tiny tutorial at the beginning, like making the player rope out of a hole using surfaces that you use later.
- I think the painting location is unfair because the rooftop pathway to it is completely surrounded by other rooftops that tell me that I am out of bounds and shouldn't be there: ones that slide me off, slide me into softlock wedges, ones that are unclimbable, ones that use an over-dark low-res textures that a player shouldn't be near, etc.
- So many fake doors that look exactly like working ones, often right beside each other. It's a headache when you are escaping guards or when it's you're 20th time in that room and are going mad looking for a new way around. It's okay to use a low rest texture or a handle-less model.
- Euterpe not being the statue outside of the art museum is just cruel. It's so highly detailed, her hand is open to hold something like a scepter, and she even has a brazier (un-dousable) in her hand right there, just like the book describes!
Anyway, THANK YOU to all involved for such a soulful city roamer. Whether you do this again or try something new, I'll be there for it.
