GTX280 & forceware 185.85(x86) and 186.18(x64)
Build 7100 x86 -
Forcing/enabling AA in thief is broken in either W7 or Forceware 185.85. I've set (2x, 4x, 8x, 16x) under the global settings in the nV control Panel and nada, no setting works. Tried earlier drivers and even compatability mode - no change.
Build 7264 64 -
AA now works again, but remember as per vista you have to have AA set to 0x or 8x to avoid the in-game readme/menu alt-tab issue.

This also effects vista, but unlike w7 a de-install and re-install of the drivers fixes it.

At the risk of sounding stupid, does Thief use AA? I've not seen an option for it in its Graphical Settings. Or is this something that DDFix enables?
What happens if you set the nVidia AA options to "let the application decide"? (or equivalent text)

* In game, no. But via the control panel for the gfx card, yes.
* Thats the same as setting the AA to off, as thief dosent have any AA in-game settings.
I have updated the 1st post with new test data.
