Sorry if this is a stupid question, but where do you find these crf files? I searched my Thief 3 directory and didnt find anything with crf as an extension.

I don't think they realized you were talking about Thief 3. CRF files are only found in Thief 1/2 and System Shock 2. The direct 2 drive version of the game won't work with a lot of mods or patches....actually, I'm not sure it will work with any of them. They're specially modified by the direct 2 drive folks, so blame them.

Hey no problem. You guys have been really quick to offer help and I appreciate that a whole lot.

I do own a disk copy of T3 so maybe I'll install that and see if the patcher works on it. The only reason I picked up a D2D version was so I didn't need to put a disk in to play the game as well as to cut down on disks I have to store (also it only cost $5).

(psst, get the version of t3.exe from the editor... the cd check doesn't happen anymore even with the disk version... :ebil:)

The links provided at the top of this post appear to be out of date as they differ form those on the (http://ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121449) DDFIX and Enhanced Resolution Patch thread. I believe that the current version of the T1/T2 patch is (http://www.filefront.com/13839558/DarkWidescreen-v6r3.zip) V6R3.

Massimiliano Goi have made Widescreen Patch for Thief 3. And i think it was some bad joke for making it for dead 16:10 aspect ratio...

Does it support 16:9 as well? Even if the 16:10 format is dead, there must be lots of people out there who have purchased monitors with that aspect ratio.

I'm not saying that he should ignore it. But it would be more logical to have both 9 and 10.
