You should try reading the thread a little more before posting; DDFix has been working perfectly, including fog, on (almost) all cards, 8800s inclusive, since v1.2.

Fog doesn't work for me at least (8800 GTS, 163.71) I've actually never got fog to work on any of my cards, except Voodoo 4...
Ps. Anyone know anything about that SS2 problem I posted a couple of posts back? I manage to run it without DDFix but it looks horrible :(

Well, was a few months since i read this thread so i couldn´t really be arsed to read 25 pages on posts. (d00000m). Ah, fog finally. Great thanks to the people making this patch!!

I got DDFix to work on my laptop running 1440x900 for both T2 and T2X. :D However, I got an error trying to run Thief Gold in the same resolution. The game loads, but when clicking play at the purchase screen it goes black and I get the standard error message. I checked both ddfix.ini and cam.cfg for the correct resolution setting. It worked fine with 1024x768 using DDFix.
Can anybody confirm or deny whether this resolution (1440x900) actually works in Thief Gold?
Thanks!

I could not get 1440 res to work on my T.G or SS2 games. I'm running a Geforce 7600GS with 93.xx drivers from Nvidia.
With SS2 I get 'This hardware is not supported by System Shock 2'
Thief Gold just does it's usual error routine.
Taff 2: The Benny Age works fine and dandy

Thanks for that. I am running ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 with Catalyst 7.12 drivers (just for the record), and also couldn't get TG to work. As mentioned, T2 works fine.

Im confused by the above comments as i know for a fact that Vannila T1/G runs fine on older chipsets such as the ati 9700 series and the previously mentioned nvidia 6200. i dont know what you guys are having such problems..

Tell me about it, one thing I liked about DDFix was that I didn't have to wait for half a second for the monitor to switch resolutions.
But I'm just glad I'm not the only one.
Hey does DDfix have a log command so I can generate a log file that Timeslip might look at?

Sorry for the confusion. TG works fine on my Radeon 9700
without DDFix, at resolution 1024x768, but I wanted to maximize my system's capabilities and run it at 1440x900 (which is a widescreen resolution) with DDFix. That did not work. But it
did work in T2 and T2X. I just wanted confirmation whether DDFix worked for widescreen resolutions for Thief Gold or not.
