Thanks for the heads-up. I'll make sure to test it when the occasion arises.
Sorry...no harm intended.

I'd prefer you not to; for the moment I want to keep ddfix where I have access to update it. Once I stop working on it then you can start bundling it.

Most imporantly, i think DDFix is as of yet not 100% out-of-the-box compatiible with SS2. I tried to use it, and I got error message along the lines of "your graphics device is not supported". I used the same ddfix that works perfectly for thief 2. But I did not fiddle with any options in the ini, so that could have been the reason for ddfix not working.

Yes, it works flawlessly with Thief 1 and System Shock 2. There are links to ddfixed TG and SS2 files a few pages back.
Hi Nv
Ive edited the links to the patched .exe's, but these need to be updated as each new version of DDfix comes out. Is there a way I can give you/others access to edit this 1st post of this thread along with myself..? - David/Gbm..?

Those addresses are in process space, not file space. You need to translate back. I'll look them up later if you don't know how.
Didja forget about me Timeslip? I'd love to get this game in 1440x900, it's the last game I have that needs to be widescreenified.

Why?
Unless I missed something, the changes that need to be made to the .exe files have never changed since the first version of DDFix. Only the DDFix.dll and DDFix.ini are updated with each new version.

NV I took your advice and downloaded the exe. Thing is, ddfix was working before that and also worked after I added the exe but in neither case did it fix the overlay thing when you query an item for more info and you see a 3d version of the item rotating above its description.

Looks like it was the edition of Thief 1 I was using - I had the Sold Out reissue, but when I tried a friend's copy of Thief Gold everything worked straight away.

ps how about framerate limiter?
Quote Posted by Timeslip
Not yet. Maybe in 1.4: It'll require another framebuffer, or you'll be limited to integer multiples of your refresh rate.
this would be great-I'm sick of running media player in the background just to fix thief1/shock2 framerates on my crt monitor..
