INSTALLING PROBLEM: When I installed Thief 1 on vista it didn't work. I tried the steps in this video (

WORKING PROBLEM: When I now try to play the game, the screen goes balck and I can hear the first few seconds of sound then it says the game has encountered an error and i hav to close it....any ideas on how to fix this?

Several things can cause this, it would be helpful if you could post any information given on the error message.
