For that, you need the Bloodstone Key. Either one of the two haunts has it, or it's in the chest. I don't remember. :)

heh found the sword useful right after my last post (in frustration hehehe what a surprise). thanks all for the help... i finished the mission and i must say it is the best FM i've played out of all the silver hammer missions. kfgecko... nice job with the werewolf-type critter at the end too.
