Thief 1 Gold, STILL running too fast.

It would be useful to know which graphics card and operating system you're trying to get it working on. Do you have problems with other games or is it just affecting Thief?

I am only experiencing problems with Thief.

Dell Optiplex 760
Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3
Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.33 GHz (I have the affinity set to 0)
3.25 GB ram
NVidia GeForce 9300GE

go to your NVidia control panel, find the "Number of frames to render ahead" option and set it to 0.

Is that the same as "Maximum pre-rendered frames"?

no idea, no nvidia card installed at the moment. but no harm in trying it out, I would say.
