Hello Taffers,
I am proud to present to you, a new fan mission for Thief 1. It is a small city mission built inside a 64' cube, but not to be confused with my last FM, (

The story is...
Three days ago, The Free Press Public House and Restaurant was raided and shut down, allegedly for "unpaid taxes, safety and health violations." With that in mind, they won't be needing the sets of high quality block lettering used for printing their news and opinion paper anymore. Break in and steal them, but keep in mind, the Baron's men are still about to ensure no one tries reviving the so called "Free Press."

Bug? The door to the gambler's flat is openable with a sword.
I have enough loot in gold equivalent, but not enough gems. Is there some hidden stash?

This FM is tiny geometrically, but I still spent 40 minutes to finish it. ~20 minutes for the objectives and the rest for searching for that last piece of gem that lies in a completely arbitrary place. As a result, I ended with 1025/1050 loot :)

cant find last of the gems on expert

i liked how much was in mission, just have no idea where i missed loot the rest was complete :)

At the free press basement there seems to be a secret entrance but I cannot find the switch to open it. Also looking for those printing blocks.
Ok I found the hidden switch. But how do I exit the area? The areas indicated by the map does not do anything,

Return to where you started - gate between Mystic and Fargo.

Been there but it does not end the mission. Maybe it's a glitch.

I got the divining stone at the mystic shop but that did not tick off so I cannot finish the mission.
