Nono, it's supposed to put you into serene state of mind "Oh this would be another refreshing spring water / soft drink commercial! Yawnn". Then BOOM. It has purpose for the desired effect. Pouring clear water is COOL.

Not really. If I ever had seen that on TV I would just have changed channels, that's what you do after 10 secs of NOTHING HAPPENING, and this one is basically 30 seconds of nothing folllowed by the 5 sec message.

I thought they show it only in theaters, no chance to switch channels. The music kicks ass. But yes, TV audience is neurotically impatient nowadays.
