The first time you load a map it will take longer, subsequent map transitions will be quicker, up to the limit of your cache setting.
Now, as for removing the CD check, that requires a contentious no CD check crack. This forum has a policy on posting warez links, however a no CD check crack sits in a debatable middle ground.
