I'm in the BIG LEAGUES now, baby!
Also yeah we absolutely gotta try out the new Bridge Crew DLC. I hear they also made the Engineer role beefier.

I got back to Ultrawings this morning, replaying the tutorial missions and then replaying them again, this time with the 'realistic' flight model. Don't think I'd want to play this game for hours at a time, but it's great for the occasional hour.
I wish there was a good, not overly complicated VR helicopter game, though, something along the lines of how helicopters handle in Arma and preferably with transport missions.

Okay, I gave in and got Beat Saber (AKA I shouldn't be so jealous of henke's saber skillz...). Great game to play in parallel with the more sedate (at least for now) Ultrawings. Both games are great examples of what VR can do at this stage: simple but effective graphics (Beat Saber is stylish af and Ultrawings feels a bit like flying over Wind Waker's oceans), great use of the Touch controllers, and neither game would be nearly as enjoyable outside VR.

Two questions for the TTLG VRnauts:
* Have any of you played either Skyrim VR or Fallout 4 VR? How did you like them?
* Do any of you have one of the VR devices other than Oculus Rift and the Vive? What are they like?

I'm waiting on significant price drops for Skyrim, since it couldn't hold my interest with the non-VR version beyond the first half hour. With Fallout 4 though, be aware that its requires at least a 1070 to run reasonably, from what I've heard.

Eep! I've got a 1080 (oh, those days before the bitcoin mining goldrush!), but my 4790k might slowly be getting a bit old to run everything as I would want. (It's less of an issue outside VR thanks to G-Sync.) I'm also waiting for both to come down in price - not least because I suspect I wouldn't finish either. However, once they're cheap enough, I could well imagine putting in a dozen hours just to experience those worlds in VR.
I have to say that the idea of exploring Skyrim in VR and using the Natural Locomotion program really appeals to me.

I have Skyrim. I am enjoying it as a sneak archer. I've got more time in Skyrim than in any other game (except Arizona Sunshine, my current gold standard for VR games). The problem I have is that I generally have about 1 hr to play a day (work, family, etc), and sometimes that's just not enough time to make significant progress.
I have to use the teleport locomotion because of motion sickness problems. I found the opening wagon ride quite a chore to get through. Ended up just closing my eyes for most of it.
It's a good game. Not sure it's $60 worth of good game.

There's a new Sprint Vector map out!

I just took a couple cyberjogs around it this morning. Definitely the most visually impressive course so far, and not terribly challenging either. It has a nice open boost-heavy section towards the end that's particularly enjoyable.

I now know how impressive that is. I have yet to beat anything on hard. And my shoulders hurt.
Beat Saber is quite cool, for those who haven't tried it yet. Well worth $19.99. My 12 year old daughter is better at it than I am.
