LASER DANCE is OUT, FOLKS!

Played through most of it tonight. Man. I've fiddled with the MS Hololens and things like that in the past, but this is the first AR game that just works. It's intuitive, fun, and quite a work-out. Playing it in hands-mode(that is: no controllers) it truly feels like some sci-fi shit. A leap forward in video game tech. The current Early Access realease is 10€ and a MUST-GET if you have a Quest 3(s).

I'm not sure I trust my inner Catherine Zeta-Jones enough to play this... though you may just have nudged me over the edge, Henke. You monster.

No mention yet of Valve's new foray into VR hardware (Steam Frame), so here you go (right around 3:25):

I'll probably consider picking one of these up if it's in the same general price range as a Quest 3, but if it's creeping up closer to $1000 USD, not so much.
Edit: I think it's a bit odd, maybe it's just my taste in gaming, but they seem to want people to play even non-VR games on this thing. I personally love VR, but I can't be "under the hood" for that long before needing a break, so I would never play non-VR games in a headset. It seems it was this same kind of thinking that Zuckerberg had with his metaverse, and no one was really buying into it. Seems like a strange strategy for Valve.

I saw the Meta store is having a Black Friday sale with 40% off (just about) everything (through Dec 2nd). I think the only notable games that are exempt are Deadpool and Batman. It's a great time to grab some of the higher priced games for cheap, stuff that (for me anyway) I probably wouldn't ever consider buying at full price. I'm looking at these in particular:
Wanderer Fragments of Fate
Alien Rogue Incursion
Reach
Into The Radius 2
Ghost Town
7th Guest
Madison
Espire 2
Into Black

Yay finally I'll be able to trip over the furniture in my room playing some VR.

That's a rite of passage.
