i tried about a hundred times to activate the cheat consol in deus ex goty but it never worked. then i go and read the patch-fixes read me , and it tells me that they patched it!!!! why would they do this???? ( i cry silently)

You have set in the config file 'T="talk"' and 't="talk"'?
I got it to work.
Oh and type in "set JCDentonmale bcheatsenabled true" without quotes.
