Back in "the good old days"(tm) when I was regularly given an automatic weapon of one form or another, and was told to go play with the other kids...........I mean when I did serious and important military training I was almost always told to take point. Now wasn't that interesting.

my brothers called my toad when they were younger (it's a play on my real name). they thought it bugged me, but i ignored it and now it's my nickname. even my mom calls me that. i added the 02 'cause 2 is my favorite number.

Way back when, I got Wing Commander IV for my birthday, and I needed some sort of 'nick to play it...thought for a while and came up with 'DarkStar'...
Then I played Thief, and became 'TheThief' everywhere. That seemed kinda boring and un-unique, so...
I became Spleef. Spleef comes out of a lyric in a Primus song.(If anybody can name the song....you've got too much time on your hands ;))...
Then, Spleef got a bit boring, and I became 'Shard', for no reason other than I've never seen anybody named 'Shard' before. :)

Back in 9th grade english, we had just finished reading Cyrano de Bergerac, and we had to form into partnerships and act out a scene. In my group I played Cyrano. Now it so happens that my name is Spiro. My friend makes a humerous remark that I am now called Spyrano. That name has stuck ever since.

Well, I originally went by the name of Orion, back in the days of Bulletin Boards, before the internet had the Web. But as soon as I started surfing websites, I quickly found that I couldn't sign up for anything, because Orion was such a popular name, so I came up with Tonamel Rhysthal. There was a method behind picking that name, but it is irrelevant at this point. I just wanted a name that I could be sure no one else had, and so far, it's worked. Six years and counting! :D

heheh, I remember signing up for AOL instant messenger, and all of my names were taken. Instead of just adding numbers after my name, I wanted a name that would be so weird that nobody would pick it. The result:
