I just got this quest to kill a kagouti that has been attacking tarvellers on the Gnisis to Ald'Ruhn road (after killing the diseased shalk in Ashimanu mine) I already found and killed a couple of kagouti in a "den" while on the way back from the mine, as Theldyn suggested, but he won't acknowledge that I've done it. I keep talking to him about it and he just keeps repeating his instructions, so I can't get his next quests. Anyone know what I should do next?
BTW, the den I found was under a stone arch type thing, it had a dirt floor and lots of bones scattered around, and a chest. I know there is a similar area near a bridge where two kagouti hang out with some bones and a chest, I've killed them as well but they respawn anyway........

Yeah, ths one's rather dumb IMHO; the head Kagouti ought to be w/ his pack, but in fact he's at the crossroads just down the path from the egg mine you just cleared up.
