D'oh! Thanks a lot, finished with 2106 worth of loot, and really enjoyed the mission! Gonna start with Bane II right NOW :thumb:

I liked the improvements over the old "Keeper's Betrayal".
Several bug fixes, an alternative entry to the Keeper compound (a bookshop is more convincing then a hotel room), the way to keeper Bouran is more challenging, and the ending more clever and spectacular :D Great work!
Some changes that aren't to my liking are the entrance hall of the compound & the street layout and texture usage at certain places.
But besides this, it's an excellent conversion.
Good mission, immortalthief.
Especially the story, with the readables and the way the events, is worth praising :thumb:.
Now onto Bane II.

Glad you liked the improvements. :D
I wonder which 2 secrets you missed! :ebil:
Enough posting for me, back to Bane III...

So here I am in the middle of this wonderful mission and find something that I can't reach.
And we hates that.
Just off the courtyard in the Keeper compound is a climbable fountain. At the top is a water spout that you swim up, and over to one side is a high ledge. I can't get to the ledge from anywhere in the water spout.
How do I get to that ledge?
Edit...Ah, I see now. Finished the mission, and on to part 2.

Is there a working link to a download of this mission? I'd like to play it, but all the links on the first page are broken. :(

Thanks! That worked great. :)

I just completed this mission after several years of not playing thief. I had never finished the original mission until this week and went right into the revamp. Textures, architecture and layout much improved. There were even several places where I could do some old-school "roof-top mountaineering" like in The Dark Project. Something that I missed in subsequent installments. Can't wait to play the next one. Is anyone still making missions for these games? As I said I haven't played in a couple of years.

Thanks Sticky Fingers. I almost forgot how great this game was. Thief 1 and 2 are probably my favorite PC games ever. Gothic 1 & 2, Torment and Baldurs Gate 2 are all right up there as well. I think much of the reason that these games are so great is the fact that they allowed us to make and play fan missions. Allowing us to interact with the game world on and unprecedented level and thereby creating theoretically endless content. I have never played a DS fan mission. Are any of them worthwhile? No offense meant to DS fan mission developers but, I know some players hate DS.
