well i got the part. i dont think my singing got it though, but it wasnt that bad. the other guys were such bad actors, if they were opra trained singers they still would have lost the roll.

Sing alot in the car and in the shower. Seriously.
Get the material you will be singing as soon as you can, and start practicing it as soon as you can.
See if there is a vocal teacher in the general area who will give you one or two lessons just to get you started.
Learning proper breath support will prevent straining your voice, especially if you need to practice the piece a lot and/or have a lot of performances. It's all about taking in a full breath and supporting from your diaphram--not singing from your neck.
Sorry, I used to be a music major. Congrats on your success so far though. :cool:
