Anyway. Moving on to healthier things, does anyone find it tragic that there hasn't been a Chrono Trigger sequel or remake, or a Yasunori Mitsuda soundtrack worth talking about, for the past 15 years?

Well, as long as this thread has been necrotized already....
That the Thief source code was never released.
By which I mean I cannot happily spend my tiny amounts of free time trying to retro-fit Oculus Rift and Touch support into Thief. Which I really really want to do.

You're right, I could. And then after The Dark Mod gets full VR support, I would then have to implement all the Dark Project / Thief Gold levels within the Dark Mod in order to play Thief in VR. Unless someone has recreated Thief in the Dark Mod already?
Don't get me wrong, The Dark Mod in full VR with motion controller support will be cool. It's just not Thief.

They're fairly hardcore over at TDM about avoiding potential copyright infringements, so even the mention of recreating original Thief levels in the mod won't go over so well.

Well there was the code leak many years ago, with the Dreamcast stuff etc. That had the source code for Thief and SS2 if I remember right. I dunno what happened to that though, as that was many years ago and the website may not be up anymore.
