That Trappist stuff is alright to sip, but a bit sickly by the time you're halfway through a bottle.
Haha, yes, that was the death of us at the beer festival. The two of us decided to give them a go at the end of the evening, and ended up tipping half a bottle away each. Bit of a shame.

Wow, I've only heard of half of these ales. Which is a good thing. It means there is hundreds more to try! :D Yay!

It's served all over Plymouth where I live. :)

Yeah, laOs, I have tried Brøckhouse IPA on several occasions over the last few years. It used to be a fine, hoppy, quite complex beer, but is today - in its current filtered and pasteurized incarnation - a mere shadow of its former self. What amazes me the most is that some people still think it's a good IPA, considering how many vastly superior examples of the style are available in Denmark (Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, Ølfabrikken Rug IPA, Great Divide Titan IPA, Avery IPA, Brooklyn East India Pale Ale, Mikkeller Stateside IPA, Wintercoat India Gold, Lagunitas IPA, Meantime IPA to mention but a few).
