Thing is, the inner child in me absolutely loves the idea of Underworld; I mean it's werewolves and vampires battling each other, ffs, what's not to like?!? The execution, however, was abysmal, and yes, neither KB nor BN could help that.

Underworld made Blade look like Near Dark. Now that's a fucking vampire film.

Excuse me, I'm just off to admire Kate Beckinsale's, erm, dialogue.

QTF
This was such a great idea in amongst the Lost Boys and the Fright Nights (much as I enjoyed them) of that era.

Yeah. That tight outfit was the only thing that made Underworld watchable. And boy was it watchable.

I just watched (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0NzJxT6PL8) the trailer for Werner Herzog's latest, (
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1233219/) My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done. Starring a bunch of near Oscar-worthy actors. Executive produced by David Lynch, who seems to have had a lot of influence on how the movie turned out. (there's even a dreamsequence(I think) with a midget)
Of course with Lynch's films it's often hard to figure out what the plot was after you've just watched the movie. So I don't think we need to worry about having the plot spoiled for us by a mere trailer.
