Come on now guys. Who are you gonna believe, me or some shady noticeboard.
Renzatic on 26/6/2016 at 17:52
When it was just that one time, I would've believed you. But now that it's happened twice, things are starting to get suspicious.

Renz, call the boys from Soddy Daisy. This gun be gud.
henke on 27/6/2016 at 11:49
No need to get the Soddy Daisy boys involved, I'm sure we can settle this like gentlemen. How about a game of Gwent?
Renzatic on 27/6/2016 at 15:16
:cocks shotgun: I hate Gwent.

Just getting started on The Witcher III. Any recommended settings, e.g. with respect to the HUD? I'm in the mood for deactivating all the guidance that isn't necessary, but only if the game isn't balanced around having everything show on the map.
henke on 21/8/2016 at 06:28
I eventually turned off most of the hud, including the minimap, which made me immerse myself much more in the world, by having to actually pay attention to landmarks, rather than just following the line on the map whenever I was going anywhere. Of course, it also made traveling slower, as I did have to bring up the full map now and then to make sure I was going the right way.
Thirith on 21/8/2016 at 09:04
Yeah, I think I'll try that, or at least a variation on it. Assassin's Creed taught me that I easily develop tunnel vision and miss a lot of the world if I focus too much on minimap markers.
What about difficulty? I've heard contradictory things about the different difficulty levels and how well balanced they are.

Invest a lot into the flame skills and you can make most content below Deathmarch difficulty trivial.
Some of the bosses are MASSIVE dicks on Deathmarch. Don't know how bad they are at other skill levels, as I only ever fought them at Deathmarch.

yeh build up your igni sign, also the mind bending one as well, you get some good dialogue options if you have that powered up.
