Well that's jolly good news.
To be honest, I've still completely ignored Gwent outside of that first tutorial game. Really doesn't appeal, and I'd much rather be gallavanting about the countryside.

Question for anyone who's read the books:
Doesn't it seem blatantly obvious where the plot is headed right from the start? You know without a shadow of a doubt who the Wild Hunt are beginning with your first encounter where one of them calls you a "d'hoine"....and consequently you know exactly why they're hunting Ciri and why it's going to be bad news for Geralt's world if they find her.

I have the game, but not the expansion pass and I'm still playing Witcher 2 (bangs head on table). I'm in the same boat with Dragon Age - just completed the first two and waiting until finish Witcher 2 to begin the 3's. Driving me crazy!

Since I've already beat the game, but haven't read the books, spoiler me up some suppositions here. What do the books hint towards happening?

Aaaand I'm done. What the hell am I supposed to do now?!
Brilliant game, and significantly raises the bar for RPGs following it. Sure, it got a little easy at the end, and I think the levelling curve is severely broken, particularly after certain events, but overall, a jolly good romp.

Turn off your computer and go to sleep.

Good to know I am not the slowest person on the planet. Someone lagging behind me ! :)
I have the game since the day of release. I've been playing every day. Sometimes only 1-2 hours, sometimes 5 hours. I am only level 10. This game is gonna take weeks to finish. I love that !
(The only thing I'd like is an option to freeze my xp. I'm going too fast !! :) Not joking, I did some level 6 story quests at level 6. And then a secondary quest for Keira (tower stuff). I am now level 10 already. And the mainline quests are still level 6 or 7. That does not look good).
==
Edit: PS I am playing at the 3rd difficulty level (Blood and Broken Bones). Should I switch to "Death March" asap ? To compensate for the fact that I might need/want to play most quests while I am already too high ?
Most quests and monsters aren't that hard. Even when doing at the appropriate level. But I did run into a named level-12 foglet when I had just dinged level-10 myself. And that foglet did kick my arse a few times, before I decided to go do something else. I check the web, and it seems people are all investing their talent points into Quen. I haven't done that. Maybe I just needed a different build to make that foglet easier ? In any case, I rather run into a boss once in a while that's (yet) impossible, than that I finish the game from level-10 till the end without encountering much difficulty.

I put a few points in to Quen early on, but later on, using Potions of Clearance to claim back spent ability points, I put nothing in to Quen at all.
Most of my points went in to the Combat tree. While I put some points into Yrden in the mid-levels, I once more reclaimed those later on only leaving three points in Axii in the whole Signs tree so as to be able to use it effectively in conversations.
Cat School Techniques from the General tree never left my build, but too much investment in this tree can cause build problems, as abilities from here get no mutagenic boost.
In the end, the most important part of my build was the Ekhidna Decoction combined with Whirl from Fast Attacks. This combination completely removed the need to be cautious in battle, and to be honest, somewhat dulled the experience by removing a lot of the risk. I switched to Death March once I had this combo just to add back some of the danger, but even then most challenge was gone.
