Okay, I just saw what had to be the best scene in videogaming ever. I'll keep this as spoilery free as possible. You go back to Witcher HQ for reasons, meet up with all your old friends there, and due to circumstances, end up having a night of absolutely nothing to do.
After mature conversations, and a lot of catching up, everyone decides to get drunk. It eventually involves a goat and crossdressing for prank calls. That's not even half of it.

Damn how are you guys going through the game so fast? ?? I want to check the spoilers and join the discussion but I haven't even met the blood baron yet. Too busy running Around the country sides and doing all the side quests with no end in sight!
Tho I did just do one that leads you to a cave. At the entrance, pile of bones, blood and a white bunny :laff: someone watched their mp!

Also one small detail I've noticed:
Does the background noise that plays when you are using Witcher vision sound familiar to anyone else? I could almost swear it was used as ambient noise in another title that everyone here has played.

It sounds vaguely like blood rushing in your ears to me, with some added effects added for tha flavah.
As for Yak's question...

Let's just say I'm not going through it fast, but I'm neglecting more than I should.

Well I haven't been back to Kaer Morhen, and somehow I still didn't manage to get to Skillege last night, but I did watch Thaler giving trolls lessons in how to swear.

Sockcuck leather!
You know, I just can't bring myself to kill any of the trolls in this game. They're mean and vicious looking, but so damn innocent and funny. The one that wants paint is probably the best of the bunch.
On a bad note, the game has been crashing left and right on me. And by crashing, I mean crashing hard. As in BSOD and reboot. I've come to four conclusions. Either my computer is overheating (though things seem to be working pretty well when I run HWMonitor), my brand new GPU is dying well before its time, I should've opted for the 650w PSU, or the Nvidia drivers are buggy.
Whatever it is, it's been getting progressively worse. It started out with the display drivers becoming unresponsive. The screen would freeze, then blink black, and then I'd find myself on the desktop. Now it's just freezing and crashing the whole computer outright. And it's entirely unpredictable. I can play for a few minutes before a crash, or a couple of hours. It doesn't start running any worse before it happens, either. It's just business as usual, then BOOM. Crash.
Whatever it is, it sucks.

You're not alone Renz. While the bank holiday weekend was only interrupted by one crash for me, this morning I downloaded the beard, hair and jacket DLC I'd somehow missed on release and got in a cheeky 45 minutes before work.
I was doing the Carnal Sins quest, and the game crashed on me 3 times, all in cutscenes.
Personally, I think it's a combination of problems, both from CDPR and nVidia.
I say that, because I also get the "Display driver stopped working and has recovered" error, but I don't get this in any other game, including GTA V, which feels like it taxes my system more than TW3.
I also suspect Galaxy might be the cause of some of these problems too, as an update to that appeared to clear up the crashes last week. I'll have to check if that got patched overnight.

Running it on a 760m, and I've had no crashes so far in about 8 hours of play.
In regards to the sound: it was used in some of the underground levels of thief.

Malf, it's good knowing I'm not the only one experiencing this. Not for misery loves company reasons, but that it's nice knowing that my computer isn't about to burst into flames.
Tony. I started out like that, with the game running fine, only crashing when I'd quit. The more I've played though, the flakier it's got. That said, it's been pretty well behaved today.
Oh, and (

I've only had 2 crashes of the game in maybe 5-10hrs of play so far, so not bad here. I'm on 1.02, didnt patch up yet tho.

Yea, everything is nicely muffled. I like how you can hear the "howl" of various critters in the distance if you look in their direction, it gives you a hint at the kind of enemy you will face there.
Also reminds me of the Pokemon cry function in the original Red/Blue hehe
