im playing the latest version of portable. im running it with dosbox at 640x480 resolution. now the weird thing is that the walls and floors are warped. they bend as i walk around them. is this how the game is supposed to look or is this a glitch? anyone else encountered it and know how to fix it or this exclusive to me? any help would be appreciated.
UPDATE: seems the problem was running the detail at max. any other setting works fine. i really need to experiment more before i make these damn threads. sorry everyone.

I believe that due to the rendering precision (something to do with how fine of an angle the engine is set up to resolve), there should be some distortion of textures as you view them from different vantage points. They should seem to "step" from one angle to another abruptly as the renderer calculates the new angle all of a sudden, with nothing really in between. What you're describing sounds a tad different though...is it?

what i was getting was the walls were curved, like the inside of a cylinder. the angle of the curve would shift depending on the angle i viewed it, from straight to circular. doesnt happen on high detail though and the difference between it and max isnt all that distinguishable so i'm fine playing on high.
