RIP. I also liked him as the voice of God in the game Under A Killing Moon and in his role as NSA administrator in one of my favorite movies, Sneakers. And I remember him from C&C Tiberian Sun.

Don't forget him as Thulsa Doom In Conan the Barbarian and his sweet hair style. Also as King Jaffe Joffer in Coming to America.
Between all the different plays and movies he acted in he certainly had a wide range of acting talent.

It's hard to imagine anyone else as Vader, isn't it. What a perfect casting.
He's had so many memorable parts. Like Mufasa in The Lion King. And Terence Mann in Field of Dreams, which is total cornball, but it chokes me up anyway. And quoth the raven, let's not forget his contributions to the Treehouse of Horror.

That's when you know you've really made it big in the world of acting: as a voice actor on the Simpsons. I mean, sure voicing Darth Vader was a big deal but was it as big of a deal as narrating a Treehouse of Horror episode? Incidentally that's probably my top favorite Treehouse episodes, and any episode with Kang and Kodos.
