Make sure the mod is enabled in the .ini file, like this...

i.e. no semicolon at the start of the line. If that's already the case then check the contents of C:\ProgramData\Deus Ex 2 Visible Upgrade\Installed Mods\Unified Texture Pack\Content\DX2\Textures\DynamicallyLoaded - you should find all the textures there.

Well, a belated "happy new year!" May 2017 be a bugfix release...
Small update: The VisibleTweaker is almost done, so I hope to have a new release out this weekend.
Is there anybody 'round here who has one of the non-English versions of the game? (German, French, Italian or Spanish AFAIK.)

The patch needs to be tested with (in principle, all) those versions too, because there could be trouble similar to what we saw with the Steam version (and we don't want that again, ever. :))
If you don't mind, could you provide me with a copy of the original Default.ini file from that version? (Either zip and upload, or PM it - in code tags please.)
Edit: Forgot to mention that the current alpha will not work with the non-English versions. But the next release will (hopefully :)).

No, it has to be an original retail version. Not terribly important to have it tested for the 1.0 release, since most people will probably have Steam/GOG. But it would be nice to have it tested with at least one of the localized versions...

The VisibleTweaker is in, including all the options for the texture pack. (I've taken the liberty of splitting off the font and Omar textures as separate options.) There's a couple of new tweaks, one to remove the HUD completely (for screenshots) and a cheat similar to the "notarget" console command in TDM. For simplicity the tweaker provides a selection of alternative reticles instead of the 'raw' .ini file settings.
The installer has a new option so that the patched game can be installed under the original name (and use the original DX2.exe). This is to make it work with Steam's overlay, at the expense of not being able to run the unpatched game from the same install. The installer should detect a Steam install and set the default accordingly.
Some bugs have been fixed and some polish has been applied.
