What would one have to do to obtain a personal copy of all the text from the Thief forums in the TTLG Forums Archives? :confused:

Reason: To eliminate having to use the internet to dig in the past threads, to have access to all posts I search for and not be limited to only 500, to be able to search by usernames without error messages, and to search for terms under three characters in length. As a research aid for the Thief Encyclopaedia project.

As a side bar, there's probably a way to retrieve every post in a certain forum if you have moderator status, or access to the servers. I wonder if they can be converted to a .txt file or something?

Hey! At least there'd be all the testing (which could be disastrous, but let's not think on it!). Quality control and testing to make sure the model performs well.

Saam hasn't posted since April so, clearly, he's had to take a break from the all-consuming TTLG. Aside from keeping the server alive, that is.
