Also, another thing that was on my mind when I played this. A bunch of recent horror stories use this same template for their titles. The Taking of Deborah Logan, The Possession of Michael King, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Haunting of Molly Hartley, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. You need to make your mediocre horror story sound classier than it is? Just use this template! :thumb:
Note: I haven't actually seen any of those movies, but I keep noticing stuff like that popping up on Netflix.

I think that type of title is used to subconsciously remind you of: The Case of Charles Dexter Ward and The Statement of Randolph Carter. It works for me. When I read a title like that, HPL is the first thing I think of.

The Astronauts (the studio that made this game) has released a new version of the game. Gameplay-wise it's mostly the same, just a few small fixes and changes. But this new version uses the Unreal Engine 4, while the original version used UE3. If you own the original game, the new version is free (both on Steam and GOG).
I installed it, because I wanted to see what UE4 can do. I'm not sure if I see many differences. The game was pretty, and still is pretty. One thing that is noticable is that the game runs a lot more smooth than before. (It ran 40ish fps, and now it runs a stable 60 fps. (i5-3570K, gtx680, 1080p, win7, 8GB ram)). I'm using in-game SMAAx2 now, while last year I used SweetFX with SMAA. The in-game SMAA looks better, I think. I also believe the required disk-space went down from 9GB to 5GB.
The game is not the best in the world, but for some reason, I really like this game. I wish there were more small studios with small budgets that would make games like Ethan Carter.

Dammit, I bought this today, BEFORE i read Henkes little review in this thread. Yeh its cool, but damn henke you always get things right. Also my pc cant handle the redux version so now I am forced to play the original without the saves. Oh well, it is very pretty at least.
