What's happening here?
If I do a titles-only search for "Outlaws", I get these four results:
1. help needed with Outlaws opening movie

If I do a titles-only search for "Outlaws" and additionally filter by username "Shadowcat", I only get this:

It might be because the user name filter only takes registered users into account and in your thread from 2000, you weren't registered yet?

Not so much "weren't registered yet" - the forum never supported guest posting - as that old posts seem to lose their user association.

The search is broken in so many ways it's easier to just use google most of the time :/

Thanks, guys. Definitely a case of me ignoring the obvious. I put two and two together when I woke up the next morning :)

Actually it did -- I only bothered registering an account here once it became a requirement. But as you say, that's not the issue in this instance.
I guess it was probably an issue from a past upgrade.
