And be honest. Who among us hasn't wanted to blow up the capital or the pentagon at some point ffs? Hell, when they took the day off for Rosh Hashana, I for one was loading up my Ford Tracker with plastic explosives and setting the navcomp for D.C.

Sarah Palin should probably stop referring to specifically and unquestionably enumerated constitutional rights as "privileges". (

In other news, polls indicate that McCain has pretty much completely lost his grip on Virginia.
edit: After watching the full mini-doc that's up now on (
http://keatingeconomics.com/) I'm really wondering how McCain will respond (and I'm guessing that some impolite words will be involved, at least in private)

I was going to comment that the "terrorist" smear is more likely to connect with the idea of Islamic fundamentalism and hence the earlier Muslim smear (which some probably still hold dear to their racially prejudiced hearts) comes back around via osmosis.
I recognise you guys are saying fight fire with fire and stand your ground and dispute the lies, but I see little of that with this reversal in tactics but it remains to be seen how the strat plays out, I guess.

You have to remember who is being preached to. It's the same as here in the UK - people don't get voted in because they are the right people with the right ideas, but for every other reason you could care to name. Populations are too big for proper democracy. Never forget the lowest common denominator hello I am Optimus Prime mmmmka?

I don't see any point at all in starting this line of attack. If anything it just weakens the Democrats in my eyes because if it all just devolves into a mudslinging match with a party who are clearly inferior then they're undermining their own integrity and value.
The point is to just let the Republicans get away with this sort of mudslinging
is viewed by many as being weak. Even if the Republican attack is wrong or a bald faced lie, to think that truth is on your side and that the public will see through it isn't a strategy that will work. Just ask John Kerry about that.
You have to attack back or be seen as weak whereas to challenge them on it immediately will be seen as a sign of a strong leader. Even if you won't convince everybody that your right, to let them get away with saying it means
there may be some truth to the accusation.

Have you watched the mini-doc yet?
(surprise question number two is what did you think?)
