How does that not look silly?
I noticed Obama followed.

"Better and better" for the basest of party hacks maybe. I know where you are coming from, but surely you would agree that healthy opposition benefits us all; Democrat, Republican or Independent. The present political situation is an embarrasment
for us all, and we haven't even gotten over the last one (embarrasment) yet.

I see you are addressing one of the "good people" I mentioned on the previous page.

Yeah, I notice the Democrats are all too eager to cede their Constitutional powers and give the Bush administration a blank check. AGAIN.
It's like 2003 all over. Bush says if you don't give me the authorization to do what I want, we're fucked. The spineless Congress caves.

Funny... I noticed that the Congress was made up of Democrats, Republicans, *and* (supposedly) independents.

Clearly, I'm not insinuating that every election should be a pushover for my party. I would much prefer a hypothetical west-wing style democracy where just when you think your party is right about everything, someone comes a long and sets you strait on something.
Sadly thats not been the case for quite some time, and the republican ticket is really showing its true colors, which is what pleases me. Not that they are terrible, but that how terrible they really are is clear enough that those who miss so much of what goes on politically can't help but be aware.

Ironically, as Bush demands more power, this time the Republicans are reluctant to give it to the presidency - presumably because they think Obama is going to win. :D It's all just power plays...
