Another problem might be that a number of people who call themselves libertarians are actually militaristic authoritarians in the Heinlein mold.
Heinlein was a Libertarian Socialist, genius. Don't confuse Starship Troopers with a statement of what his ideal system of government would be.

I'm not sure what, if anything, Fringe's "militaristic authoritarians in the Heinlein mold" (for which I assume he's referring to Starship Troopers in particular because not all of Heinlein's stuff is like that) has to do with anarcho-capitalism.
Perhaps he's referring to the kind of redneck libertarian-too private property owners who are ready to blow off dicks of anarchist travellers who have just decided to camp on their farm, with their shotguns. :ebil:
So which one of these two groups is better anarchist?

What is equal to just "Libertarian" outside the States.

I thought Heinlein was a randite?

Considering Heinlein's habit of populating his books with either weasely villains or mouthpieces for his own ideas, one might be forgiven for this confusion. Especially given the smug "As you know, Bob"-style political lectures at the beginning of the book.
If it makes you happier, though, you can scrub the last four words from that sentence and it still stands.

(
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/24/campaign.wrap/index.html?eref=rss_topstories) McCain cries "you can't beat me if I quit", takes toys home with him.
Quote:
Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain announced Wednesday that he is suspending his campaign to return to Washington and focus on the "historic" crisis facing the U.S. economy.
Democratic rival Sen. Barack Obama said at a news conference later Wednesday that he and McCain had spoken by phone and had agreed to issue a joint statement about shared principles in the approach to resolving the economic crisis.
But he disagreed with McCain's call for postponing Friday's first presidential debate in Oxford, Mississippi.
"It's my belief that this is exactly the time when the American people need to hear from the person will be the next president," Obama said. "It is going to be part of the president's job to deal with more than one thing at once. It's more important than ever to present ourselves to the American people."

Fucking epic.
David Letterman: "What are you going to do if you're elected and things get tough? Suspend being president? We've got a guy like that now!"

Tsk, tsk. All you guys were complaining when Bush wouldn't put aside My Pet Goat for 9/11. How is this any different? ;)

Wow. Just wow.
I've seen Letterman make fun of people before. But this was not fun. This was not really funny. He just slaughtered McCain. He drove him straight into the ground. No funny remarks, just pure political remarks. (And of course I agree with him. :)). Amazing how the media suddenly is a lot more straightforward, and bashes McCain like a punchingball.
Well, better now than in 6 months time.
After the RNC I was really afraid for a while.
But now it is starting to look like the American people finally start to understand why voting for Republicans isn't in their interest. Go America go !
