ok i got a problem in mission please let me know what is going on ok i am short on loot and never found basso gift,but i activated the portal and steped into it,then when i went down slide the end was blocked nd i am not sure if that is end mission or ihave to figure out how to open the ice door? if the end where is basso gift at and and hard to find loot ?

Going through the portal is the end of the 1st mission. To get the ring, you'll have to get in the Yangus Estate. A man walking around in the city had a journal on him. It has a clue on how to get in there.downwinder on 1/8/2014 at 14:02
ok i was in there butonly saw a ket nezt to that wild man hitting the training dummie,what else is there,also i tryed to go back after i went first time and hitting bell dont work now?
ok moving on to second mission,i wanted to say i am amazed how first mission came out on newdark,i am very impressed,you did a great job,i hope to see you make more missions for new dark thief 1/2

Playing on insane. Fun but hard, thats ok with me, but i cannot play any further. Some time after i released the zombies the mission begin to end now and then, it says i failed the no kill objective. The only ai i have killed is one of those tall creatures in a small library on the top floor of a building. But i could keep playing so i guessed i could kill those. I have played much more since then.

Gort, I sure hope you didn't do that to us... :p I killed
one of the dog guards very early on too and have played another 2 hours or so further. If I get to the end of mission one, only to fail the no kill, I will not be happy. A kill failure should be immediate - not a tease for hours on end. I hope that is not the case, but if it is, not cool... :ebil:
I am playing on insane. Lot's of forced ghosting due to super AI, yet no way to ghost, since there are far too many bright lights and no way to go to the roofs in many places. The
rope arrows are nearly of no use, since there are no wooden things around and I cannot throw crates 3 stories up. Maybe I'll just restart on the baby level, since I am likely already hosed due to the no kill that has not triggered. Unless Beltzer got hosed for killing via
zombies. Otherwise, a

It has been a long time since I played the original and I only recognize parts of it. I am guessing it is no way near the original release. Extremely hard on both insane and average so I will continue on insane. A Dumb question?
Are there any water arrows and where are they?
I have found one gas arrow but I am afraid to wasting it. Too many metal heads.

finished mission 2 ,wow so much fun,i wont spoil anything ,but you all will love this set of missions
but can someone tell me,in mission 1 where is the item i need to get for basso and where is the missing loot,doing insane and i think it was 4k loot,only have 2/8secrets so i am guessing more is in those area,also what key is needed to open gate to the left of the bell to yengis place,my water/walkway key did not work

Stuck in mission two I have read the note in the library and killed two ice creatures went in the three dark rooms but can't figure out what to do now?

pwl have you been on roof of building in cave? there is a switch you hit,then go back to start of map,you will see something different on your way back
