Thanks Jaime! Now I skipped the last part as I cannot make it past in the lava caves.
I'm at the beginning of mission 2 and wow, the music and light effect are awesome!!!!
But stuck
i got the explosive charge, cannot open temple and cannot climb up where all the ice stalagmites are How do I proceed?
Not sure if you're supposed to do this, but I got up there by climbing up the slope of the cavern wall on the left first.
Then you have to sort of shimmy along on the lip of the brown section of wall that just barely juts out from the front of the structure. Hold forward and left strafe so you don't fall off until you get to the balcony with the ice door.
Oh, and to save you some frustration later,
I never found a use for the explosive charge (at least on normal difficulty). Maybe you're supposed to use it on the door there to open it but I couldn't find any way to detonate it without fire arrows. I ended up finishing the level without ever using it. GORT will have to answer that one.
Hope this helps.
EDIT: Oh shit, I just found out you can detonate the explosive charges with flares! I never knew you could blow them up that way. Well, there you go. I guess that was the intended solution.
Place the charge at the front door, then throw the flare from the toolbox (at the frozen dead guy's campsite) at it to bust it open.

How do you trigger the zombie objective?
Marbrien on 9/8/2014 at 16:06
Playing on Difficult. I have given Hardroot the juice and he has rewarded me for it, but that objective has not ticked off. When I released the zombies they ran into a party of guards, and the mechanists I dealt with myself. Is this the reason the compound objective is outstanding?

I finally found hard root and finished the mission. I had to led the zombies to the mech.

Go up
on the ledges and find Hardroot. I used a rope arrow
on wide "rope" between buildings to get up there, but others have managed it through jumps.
Now, a question of my own:
I'm playing the new version,
Got the Basso objective, went to the estate, got the cutscene and objective to kill Yangus, killed Yangus and objective went off, but I can't get the ring from him even though I see it on his hand!!! Dragging Yangus' entire corpse to Basso's place doesn't work unfortunately. How do I get the ring off of Yangus' dead hand/body?- prjames

@ prjames
You can get it, but you'll have to have the Auto-Body Search set to On in the game section of the options menu. I'll try to see if I can fix that.

That was it, thanks.

This is fun. Playing a third time. Memorizing the map is about the only way to make use of the zombies in dealing with the Metal Heads. The first time I found the attic key somewhere easy. But for the life of me I can't remember where?

Folks,
OK, I've made it to Mission 2 and quite a ways in mission 2. I passed the gem ramp puzzle and the maze to the room with the treasure that teleports you when you frob it.
I've made it past another series of caves to the locked door that you pick, then made it through the "make the right choice or die!" section to where there are two switches, you choose the one on the right, hear a voice saying "Wikkon!" (or similar sound effect) and a bunch of puffs of smoke and then you go through a now-open door into a room full of statues blocking the way. I'm able to push one statue part of the way forward but then it stops and I can push no more statues.
What am I supposed to do at this point? (Never mind, see below.)

Update: Actually, apparently, you can push certain statues slightly different directions or push it from the right side or not the left side to get it to move. I eventually pushed various statues around and navigated this room. Note that you can also shoot movable statues with your arrows to explode traps safely. One of the chests has six water arrows, you'll need two for the next section.
