Dude what? Do you have any idea how many fan missions there are for the Thief games?
icemann on 6/4/2019 at 05:34
Deus Ex 1 got a fair few as well. SS2 has a moderate amount too.

What was the name of that fanmade DX expansion where you play as Paul? I can't remember for the life of me, but I remember it being pretty awesome.
Never made it too far into the Nameless mod. So many in jokes.

I think you missed out. You don't have to be a veteran of the Planet Deux Ex forums to get the jokes. If you are a fan of Deus Ex and remember what internet forum culture was like in the late 1990s and early 2000s, you'll get the jokes. It works as a parody of old school internet forum culture in general. You can even see a lot of TTLG in there. If you can get past the fact that it's a parody, and you're not
saving the world in typical DX fashion, it's really an excellent game. You get 20-40 hours of Deus Ex gameplay depending on how much you explore, and that's just for one faction. After, you can replay it working for the other faction. I don't know of any other mod that offers a comparable amount of quality gameplay.

Ah, yep! Zodiac was it! Thanks!
And hey, I can always try the Nameless mod again, assuming I can get it running. ;)

Burden of 80 Proof is still one of my favorite mods for anything.

I got stuck in the sewers in Nameless Mod, and dang if that whole big section wasn't dull as heck.
PigLick on 7/4/2019 at 08:52
ah sewer levels, when will they ever learn?

I finally played and finished Human Revolution, it was only a little better than my first impressions in 2011 and a few tries after that, I give it 6 out of 10, na mean.
