Edward Norton is in your house?

Well that was a remarkably pleasant evening. We split a pitcher of Capital Oktoberfest and watched the sun go down over the lake, then ate impossible quantities of pasta and topped it off by miraculously finding room for Guinness.
Great guy, would do again.
but oh god that pasta

Here is photographic proof of my visit to Madison.
The Stitch is like Cyclops, if he takes off the shades everything burns :p

Oh, I crossed the Mississipi monday and just continued East and today too...
I arrived in Madison around 4pm and had a walk in some mall before going to Bill's place. We then went downtown and had a HUGE oktoberfest beer followed by a super Italian dinner followed by a PINT of GUINNESS, while talking about TTLG, our respective jobs, music, movies, comics... and stuff.
GOOD TIMES.

NEW YORK CITY! YESSSSSSS.
After leaving West Point I spent some time in the Bear Mountain State Park and on road 9W, trying to find a few spots to take good pics of the river.
I did find a few.

Oh, look, Manhattan

New York City has the "busy" vibe I kind of expected back in San Fran. It feels more stressed, more busy, less laid back. Somewhat unsettling after spending two weeks "out there". It does have a few calmer places though

I met RBJ at the Blue Smoke, a BBQ restaurant that proved
excellentissimo. Since I didn't have to drive anymore I had a caipirinha while I waited for him to arrive, and then a pint of the house's beer to go with the ribs.
God those were good. This joint is in good place in my "come back" list now.
Unfortunately RBJ couldn't stay longer so we split up pretty much right after that. But, not without the obligatory meet photo of course :)
