Sorry, I thought you meant you don't mind the current (January) date and will be coming anyway! And I thought mol was ok with smaller Finn-meet now and big one later (also I'd really like to meet with Vig'n'Morrg before they go to NZ!)
And so, even if it's a "Finn-meet", doesn't mean that others couldn't join ;)
But yes, we're looking at April for the bigger meeting, at the earliest. Maybe even May, then the weather might already be nice for some kind of outdoors thingie, perhaps even picnic.
Sorry people, seems that if you start stuff like this when drunk, you'll stay permanently confused :o

Yeah, I don't mind the date much as in, any seems fine. But I would like to meet up with more than just the fins, I guess I'll come to ze bigger one then. :)

ohhh, man, I'm seriously bummed out that I'll miss this one. Yeah, yeah, I'm not exactly a regular around here. More of a constant lurker... I'll actually be moving to Helsinki next summer, but not until August or so. Maybe will ask for another meetup in the fall or so :)
Zetor is a great place. Been there this summer, had the little fried fishies (forgot what they're called, you can also get them at the market, hmmm--yummy.)

I really should check the forums more often.
This thingy in April sounds quite interesting. It's been a long time since I've travelled, and I do miss it. I'm sure it'd be fun to meet up with old and new friends and acquaintances, and to be drunk under the table by the natives (clearly, all Swedes are at disadvantage). If I can find my way east through the fog of insomnia, I'll certainly consider it.
I'm a bit unclear though if anybody there will know who I am. I used to post rather a lot here, but got kind of braindead from not sleeping for ten-odd years and would probably look a lot stupider in real life than in text, all sleepy and zombie-like. Britons and Germans I've met can probably verify this.
But yes, I'm interested, and taking notes.

Where would you rather get drunk on your birthday, with your friends and family at the snuggly safety of home, or desperately lost in a strange country with people you don't know and where nobody speaks your language? I'll vote for the latter!

So I tossed the idea we could try La Société du Cochon for dinner, and Vasquez suggested we'd then wobble on to O'Malley's for drinks and chatting afterwards.
