I never found the jumping to be an issue, but I suspect it's because I put so much stock into Agility to use the Rapier.

Well you still have get up to reach the womb.

But it's not such a pain anymore when you use (http://www.strangebedfellows.de/index.php/topic,25.0.html) ADaoB or Crion's (http://www.strangebedfellows.de/index.php/topic,61.0.html#diff) ImpossibleMP mod because NamelessVoice placed additional respawn points in that part, so you don't get reset to the start of the level when you die anymore.
