I'm finally back onto the main mission, which is like one of the first ones you do. Anyways, I have to interview some people at Vivec, and already interviewed 2 of the 3, I finally found the 3rd one, but needs the taxman offer her keister. So I go up to the taxman to get him to leave her alone, but nothing is working. What am I supposed to do here? I tried bribing, taunting, I talked about everything, nothing works. :sweat:

The thieves guild member in the undrworks right? Well, if itis in your journal (Talk to her) then talk to him bout her... he should ask if you've seen her. Say that she took a boat to the mainland, go back and tak to her and that'sthat.

I talked to them both. There isn't an extra option for chat with either of them. He just keeps asking me if I've seen her, there isn't any new option of chat after I talk with the chick. :rolleyes:

Guess I'll try talking to both again and see what happens.

While NeoXro's suggestion is valid, it sounds like you jumped the gun and didn't ask Addhiranirr about "Census and Excise agent". Try asking her about that and talk to the taxman again, and if that still doesn't work could you give more details?

I'm almost positive that isn't an option of chat. Do I need to do something before I talk to her? :confused:

That's one thing about this game I don't like, it won't stop you if you're about to do something that will mess up a quest that you havn't done yet.

I hope that isn't the case here, since this is part of the main quest. Oh, and is there a way to ask your own questions or talk about whatever you want by typing it in yourself? Sounds kinda wierd but that would be a cool addition. :cheeky:

Hmm.. well, in this quest's case the only way I know of to screw it up is by telling the taxman about her and then jollying her into talking anyway; Caius won't recognise the info then (bug). Sounds like you just need to hit every single one of her topics; one of 'em should open that topic up.

(And nope, no way to type in your own questions like in Ultima 3-5)

It's still not working!! I talked about everything to both of them and none will talk about the other!! The only thing I can think of is I'm talking to the wrong person. The guy I talk to says he is the taxman for some company, I forget, :p and is always right upstairs from the Canal in the lower waistworks. Is that the right guy? He says he's looking for her when we start a convo, but won't talk about her!!!! :mad:
