Well, in related news, I recently found out that one of my friends from high school is a gay porn star. I'm not joking. His screen name is Lane Fuller.
His father was incredibly homophobic, and he finally came out in college and disappeared, so I didn't know what happened to him.
When I looked him up, I marveled at how widespread his fame had become. He regularly gets on those top-10-pornstars-ever lists in magazines and stuff. He's already "retired" and come out of retirement again to great fanfare (as I've just started working). He has an entourage, and gay porn paparazzi follow him around.
Awesome beyond words. *sniff* I always knew one of us was going to be a star ... a porn star.
Edit: Ok, that really has nothing to do with nothing here. I just felt like sharing with a cue like that. Carry on.

I'm not sure skinny white guys are in much demand these days in that world. :erg:
Now if they needed an extra for a few MFF scenes, they might have to pay me a lot of money to do it, but if the price is right I might take a stab at it. I can't imagine it would be good for a future political career, though.
At the very least, I wish I could get invited to the porn AVN awards and some of their parties. I'm not sure my friend from high school is one to help me out in that regard, though, given that he's a star now, probably gets pampered all the time, can be selective with those he grants favors to and allows to join his posse, etc.
I'll probably have better luck, given my own choice of field, getting into the entourage of some Wall Street Republican stockbroker. As long as I still get invited to the parties, I guess...
I do have to say, though, that I am entourage fodder. I am a sucker for hanging out with rich/famous people.

If there is -one- thing porn surfing all these years over the net has taught me is that there's always a niche market for every fetish around that you can successfully live off. You just need to market yourself :cool:

Well back in 1999...
They hate me, I can't write for bonobos in English.
Nowadays they tolerate me coz I still can't write in English. (a bit better but)
