Ok, so I like to 'play house' in my place in Skingrad - setting up the mannequins, organizing the loot in various containers.
But recently, I notieced things keep dissapearing.
It started innocently enough - I dropped a Daedric Warhammer and it went right through the floor. Okay.
But now whole mannequins are dissapearing, and when I go to put loot in my containers, the loot dissapears - once it leaves my inventory it doesn't reach the container.
Do areas have a polygon/item limit - is that why new things are dissapearing? And do containers have an item limit? Is there a simple way to go into the construction set and find all these things without knowing how to use it? Thanks.

I've occasionaly experienced something similar, but only in the outdoor IC Marketplace and Arena districts. Everyone is "wading" through the street, and I can walk through building walls. If I drop something on the street or sidewalk it apparently sinks through to the ground underneath. It's as if clipping for the street/sidewalk/building objects somehow got turned off when the area loaded. The odd thing is, at least in the Market district, that if I cross over to where Rindir's shop is, everything is normal.
I'm just glad that it only happens occasionally. I have no idea what causes it.

I've had stuff sink into the floor of my Imperial City shack - an elven cuirass or two. I was scared to put anything on the floor after that. But now it seems to work just fine. It seemed to affect only certain items.
Kind of off-topic: One time at my Imperial City shack, a bottle of Shadowbanish Wine rolled under a shelf. I had to fetch a broom to push it out, which I find really funny for some reason. I think that's one of the few times when the physics engine has truly contributed to gameplay. :)

I'm more concerned about the things dissapearing in my armor drawer - can't put anything in it anymore. Time to clean house, I guess?

Yeah I stole all the Ayelid statues I sold to that collector in the Imperial City and went about putting one in each of my houses. The trouble is, the damn statues keep falling through all the tables, shevles, etc that I put them on, or even the floor for that matter, I've noticed the same thing with mountain lion pelts.
