Blackjack: The Silent Project finally comes to an end with the great escape from Cragscleft prison. The project is about knocking out everybody (killing nobody), gathering them in a single spot and taking a picture. The screenshot below is from a Thief Gold game and took 7 hours and 23 minutes (game time) to make. Nobody has been killed during the mission (not even Cutty), and for a very long time, this had been considered to be impossible.

On expert level, the prisoners have only one hit point and die when knocked down. However, the blackjack does zero damage when used in blocking mode instead of attacking. Also, it was necessary to carry everyone through the upstairs exit to prevent people dying when exposed to water for too long. Garrett had to take running leaps from there to the water and then keep jumping to prevent people from drowning.

Also, this may be the last ever contribution to the Collector's Edition (making a screenshot of all mobile items in the mission). Nobody ever posted an image that includes the remains of all blown up zombies in the mission, so here we go. To do that, they have been knocked down with the sword, then blown up with a holy water arrow.

I admire your dedication but I am curious, is this 'blackjack everyone then put them in one place' some sort of known challenge like Ghosting or Iron Manning, or did you just decide to do it as a self-set goal for fun :)

Golden Skull started it, and it has been picked up by several people like me, Azal and Aedryn with a few contributions. It's about showing off the power of the blackjack. Just do a forum search for "silent project". Back in the good ol' days SP even had its own website, but it's gone now. The only shots still available are mine (various TDP, TG and TMA missions, T2X and Deus Ex), and what's in Azal's "Strange and Unusual" for TMA. Actually, I think you can get addicted to it, but it's mostly about the fun (although Cragscleft is the most tedious mission to do this in any of the official games). :-)
P.S.: Just noticed that someone has archived my pictures, but Aedryn's and Golden Skull's pictures seem to be lost.

Used to love these pictures back in the day! Had no idea the flys could be killed with water arrows - can't believe I'm just learning this now!
