Indeed one replay of the game, I flew up to the top of the highest building in Wan Chai
Summoned a Sniper rifle and full Ammo
Then Summoned 100 Luminous path (fell down in to the courtyard)
Then spent the time improveing my target practise.

Indeed as much as I view the common, or garden variety, cheater as just below pond scum on the evolutionary ladder, when you've played through half a dozen times and just want to have a bit of fun then cheating becomes acceptable.
Many times, I have edited the *.uc files in the game and made, for instance:
> Speed Aug twenty times as powerful so so can leap tall buildings
> Make everything explosive; chairs, trees, cars, birds, etc
> Give children the "HumanMilitary" property and arm them with flamethrowers
> Put Manderley on the same team as the NSF so all his troops attack him
> Make all the AI weight 1% of normal so when you shoot them they fly through the air for huge distances
You have so much control over what you can edit, that the limit is only your imagination!

SJamieson, if you did all that by cheats... I say: so what?
If you did all that work legitimately, then I say: you have way too much time on your hands.

The point why we do it (I can say we because I played about 50 Thief and Deus Ex missions this way) is to make a screenshot and for the satisfaction. Of course it serves no real purpose, but it's *fun*. It hardly matters if people think we're weirdos or have too much free time. The picture is no better or worse because SJamieson had to cheat for a couple of the AIs - but you pay it with a bit of the satisfaction you would have without the cheats.

i have just red some of the post about all the things you guys do with this game .
to me it is amazing what you can do .me i am and old man of 62 that did not no what a computer was untill about 3 years ago .a frend gave me one and i started playing games and it has made my old age fun .and this is one of my best games to date
and i have never been able to make the cheets work for me.i enjoy reading about your work thanks.
